The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a Norwegian NGO with more than twenty years of continuous operational experience in development projects in Afghanistan. Our Country Office is located in Kabul and the Head Office in Oslo, Norway. Our work aims at conducting long-term assistance to the Afghan people, within the sectors of health, education, environment and rural development.

NAC focus on health projects in Ghazni, Nangarhar, Kuanar, Wardak and Badakhshan provinces. Currently NAC’s health program is supporting Hospital Midwifery Education program at Institute of Health Science (IHS) in Nangarhar, Community Midwifery Education (CME) Program in Kuanar and Wardak, and the Afghan Midwife Association through providing technical, managerial and financial assistance to the programs
